PRACTICE
DRIVING RANGE
The range is over 300 yards in length, allowing golfers to hit any club in the bag. We have 12 indoor bays and in the Spring/Summer months we have a designated area for hitting off the grass.
There is also a practice pitching green with two bunkers.
The driving range is open to the public and tokens or swipe cards can be purchased from the Professional shop at the Golf Club.
PUTTING GREENS
We have two practice putting greens, a 9 hole green beside the Clubhouse close to the first tee of the Hawkshill course and a smaller 4 hole green beside the first tee of the Swailend course. Both practice greens are given the same care and attention as the greens on the courses.

Our professional shop is managed by PGA professional Andrew Cooper. Andrew joined Newmachar in 2001 and has established a reputation as one of the best teachers in the North East. In addition to private tuition, Andrew has experience in group coaching, conducting popular classes for corporate clients. When not looking after our members and visitors golfing needs, Andrew works on his own game, competing regularly on the Tartan Tour.
Andrew is assisted in the shop by Martin Lawrence and Fraser Clarke.
The shop carries an excellent range of golfing equipment and clothing, with leading brands including Taylor Made, Adidas, Callaway, Nike and Titleist.

CLUBHOUSE
Our clubhouse provides panoramic views over the Hawkshill course. It is fully licensed with a full catering service provided. It is always best to book catering for parties of eight or more in advance, as restricted opening hours may be in operation, especially during the winter months.
Changing rooms are available for men and ladies.
